There's a lot of sweet green syrup passing for matcha around Ao Nang. Ours isn't that: it's proper stone-ground matcha, whisked to order behind the counter, so the colour is real and the grassy, slightly bitter edge is still there under the milk.
The twins who founded the cafe worked the recipes out during the slow 2020 seasons, alongside the signature coffee list — which is why the matcha here tastes dialled-in rather than dropped onto the menu as an afterthought. Four drinks, one price, hot or iced all day.

Which one to order
From classic to curious
Start with the Matcha Latte if you want the pure version: matcha over milk, no distractions. The Dirty Matcha layers a shot of our espresso through it — the drink for people who can't choose between green tea and coffee, and our staff's honest favourite for a reason.
The other two lean fruity. Matcha Strawberry is the sweeter, prettier one; Matcha Fresh Orange sounds unlikely and converts almost everyone who tries it — citrus first, grassy matcha finish. If you're still deciding, our signature coffee list runs eleven originals deep for the non-matcha half of the table.
Matcha pairs naturally with something sweet: a golden Thai dessert set, a croffle, or mango sticky rice when the mangoes are good.

We're open 8:00–18:00 every day of the year, walk-in only, with parking on site. Morning is quietest; the garden tables in the shade are where the matcha photos happen after about 15:00, when the light softens.
