Do you serve lunch and dinner?

We serve the full menu all day from 8:00 to 18:00, which covers breakfast, lunch and an early dinner. For a late dinner, the Ao Nang Landmark night market starts up around the cafe in the evening.

How do I get to you from Krabi Airport?

It is about 33 km — roughly 40 minutes by taxi or airport shuttle. Tell the driver “Ao Nang Landmark, Khlong Haeng”; we are inside the complex.

How do I get to you from Nopparat Thara Pier?

The pier is a few minutes away by tuk-tuk or a 15–20 minute walk. Arriving by boat from Railay or the islands, we are the natural first coffee stop.

Are you at the night market?

Yes and no — we are inside Ao Nang Landmark, where the night market sets up in the evening. We serve during the day (8:00–18:00), so the classic plan is brunch or coffee with us, then market food stalls after sunset.

How do I recognise the cafe?

Look for the wooden shopfront with our golden mascot, garden seating, and the long stone table with water flowing into a fish pond. You will hear the water before you see it.

Can I walk from central Ao Nang?

Yes — it is a flat 35–40 minute walk along the beach road toward Nopparat Thara, most of it with sea views. A songthaew or Grab takes about 10 minutes if it is hot.

Does Grab work in Ao Nang?

Grab operates in the Ao Nang area, alongside local songthaews (shared pick-up trucks) and tuk-tuks. Songthaews along the beach road are the cheapest option.

What bread do you use?

Local artisan sourdough, naturally leavened and baked in small batches by a Krabi baker. It is the base of our toasts, breakfast sets and grilled sandwiches.

What are your best pancakes?

Banana Pancakes (189฿) — fluffy pancakes with banana and maple syrup. A Tripadvisor guest called them “by far the best pancakes I’ve had in a long time,” and Blueberry Pancakes (189฿) are close behind.

What is a croffle?

What is Tom Yum coffee?

What does “Thongyib Thongyod” mean?

They are two royal Thai desserts made of egg yolk and syrup: thongyib (ทองหยิบ, “picked gold”) is pinched into a flower, thongyod (ทองหยอด, “golden drop”) is a glossy sweet drop. They symbolise good fortune — and they are what our cafe is named after.

Can I actually try thongyib and thongyod at the cafe?

Yes — the Signature Thongyib Thongyod Set (149฿) serves the traditional golden sweets with ice cream. Most visitors to Thailand never encounter them; here they are the house specialty.

Do you have mango sticky rice?

All day, year-round: a personal portion at 159฿ and a Family Mango Sticky Rice for sharing at 199฿. It is the single most-mentioned dish in our reviews.

Is mango sticky rice available outside mango season?

Yes — Thailand grows several mango varieties across the year, so we serve it year-round with the best ripe fruit available. Peak sweetness runs roughly March to June.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes — vegan-friendly choices include mango sticky rice, tofu avocado salad, mushroom avocado toast, fries, most smoothies and all cold-pressed juices. Items are flagged vegan-friendly on the menu.

Can dishes be made vegetarian?

Often yes: omelettes and toasts can drop the bacon, salads can swap proteins, and the kitchen is used to requests. Just ask when ordering.

Do you have gluten-free options?
